John S. Waugh

John Waugh joined First Bankers’ Banc Securities, Inc. (FBBS) in October 2024 as a Vice President of Sales. He works out of Memphis Tennessee. John works with a variety of institutional clients including banks, credit unions, trust companies, insurance companies, municipalities, pension funds, hedge funds, mutual funds, investments advisors and individuals to advise them on their fixed income and capital market needs.

Prior to joining FBBS, John spent time working as a salesperson in the whole loan trading space. During this time, John’s main clientele were community banks and credit unions. This served to increase his knowledge base on banking and advising financial institutions.

John graduated from the University of Memphis with a finance degree in 2022. He was one of the founding members of the finance club at the University of Memphis. This is where he discovered his passion for all things related to finance, markets, and investing.

As a registered representative with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), John holds the following licenses: Series 7 and 63.
