Greg Bernard
Greg Bernard began his investment career in 1982 with United Missouri Bank, N.A. His responsibilities included institutional investment sales and portfolio services, primarily for banks in Oklahoma. He has remained in investments, either as a sales representative for bank portfolio management, or as a manager of professionals in investment portfolio management, for close to 40 years. Prior to forming Midwest Capital Management, Greg was a Senior Vice President and Branch Manager for First Tennessee Bank, N.A. in Kansas City. Greg is a Certified Public Accountant and has in the past been responsible for the development of portfolio analytic tools and risk management of bank portfolios.
Greg earned a Bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Kansas, graduating with Highest Distinction. He spent two of his college years at Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma, where he had a 4.0 GPA. Prior to beginning his investment career, he spent three years at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company, specializing in audit and tax work for financial institutions.
