Jason Henderson

Jason Henderson, Vice President/Controller, originally joined Midwest Independent BankersBank (MIB) in June of 2002 as a documentation specialist in the Loan Department. Henderson has held various positions while employed with MIB. He transferred to the role of Compliance Manager in January 2007 and served as the Vice President/Human Resources Officer for Midwest Independent Bancshares, Inc. (MIB, Inc.) from June 2017 until May 2021 when he assumed the role of Operations Officer. After a brief sabbatical, he is returning to the organization as Controller for First Bankers’ Banc Securities, Inc. where he will be primarily responsible for keeping accurate books and records of the firm as a licensed FINOP.

Henderson was named Employee of the Quarter on multiple occasions during his long tenure with the organization, and Employee of the Year in both 2015 and 2017.

He graduated summa cum laude from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems with a minor in Business.
