Dewey Kerner

Dewey Kerner was promoted to Vice President in January 2020 and works in our Denver, Colorado office. Mr. Kerner assists a variety of banks, trust companies and wealth managers with investment services. Dewey assesses the needs of every institution from a granular portfolio perspective as well as the overall balance sheet structure. He is very active in the banking associations throughout the Western states he serves.

He previously deployed his specialized skill set in the mortgage industry as an accomplished Mortgage Loan Officer with American Equity Mortgage.

Dewey is a 2019 graduate of the Iowa School of Banking. He also graduated from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston with a degree in Biological Sciences.

He joined First Bankers’ Banc Securities, Inc. in the fall of 2016 where he was mentored by the President, A.W. Spellmeyer.
